Areas of focus

I specialize in therapy with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are seeking meaningful change and relief from emotional suffering. My practice is rooted in the core assumption that people are doing their best at any given moment. My goal is to support clients as they navigate life transitions related to relationships, parenting, career, and identity, while helping them develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding. Together, we focus on identifying and healing patterns that no longer serve you, while building practical, sustainable skills for lasting change. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is collaborative, compassionate, and attuned to your unique experiences and goals.

I am especially passionate about helping individuals explore longstanding patterns, manage intense emotions, and better understand how past experiences shape present-day relationships and choices. I spent the first five years of my career receiving extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) at McLean Hospital, a leading psychiatric facility affiliated with Harvard Medical School.

In couples therapy, I work collaboratively to help partners move beyond surface-level conflict and get to the root of the underlying emotional needs, attachment wounds, and negative interaction cycles that keep them feeling disconnected. Drawing from training in the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I support couples in strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, deepening emotional intimacy, and creating more secure and satisfying relationships.

I believe deeply in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. My aim is to work alongside you to foster insight, emotional balance, and meaningful personal change. I look forward to connecting and exploring whether we might be a good fit. I am licensed in Maine and Massachusetts.

Previous Experience:

Outside of my work as a therapist, I value connection in all its forms. I love spending time with my friends and family, being around dogs whenever possible, and finding time to recharge at the beach.
