I genuinely enjoy working with adolescents, adults and families (18+) or those seeking parent guidance.

Individual adolescent clients may be experiencing difficulties with their parents, keeping up in school, and navigating finding themselves in a complex world.

Individual adult clients often are amidst major transitions, burn-out, high stress jobs, having trouble balancing work/life/being a parent. They also may be dealing with depression, anxiety, resentment, fear and knowing which directions to head in hopes of fully healing.

Families I work with may be trying to change familial patterns, address long standing conflicts, or establish better communication and improved boundaries.

At the outset, it is of utmost importance that people feel heard and understood despite the complexities of their unique situations, history and lives. With this understanding, I work very hard to give people what they need, which often requires a balance of being present, flexible and creative. I believe that each person brings their own set of beliefs, pain, and problems to therapy, and therefore, they deserve an individualized approach to ensure comfort but foster change.

My approach and style is different for every person I see but ever present is a focus on what a person may need that day. Thus, each session I may call on my experience and training in research based treatment: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Relational and Client Centered modalities.

I view myself as a ‘real person’ therapist who is dedicated to being forthright (honest, direct). However, I pride myself on offering feedback where clarity and kindness coexist in the therapeutic space.

I enjoy laughing, being goofy with my kids, exploring and finding fun in the day to day of life, eating good food, exercising and sports.
