Areas of focus

I love working with adult individuals, couples, and families (18+), and I strive to provide the highest quality therapy possible—balancing who each client is, what their goals are, and what therapeutic approach best fits their needs.

Individual Therapy
My individual clients often come to therapy navigating relationship challenges, demanding careers, or major life transitions. Many describe themselves as perfectionistic, driven, or “type A,” yet also feel anxious, depleted, or uncertain about how to slow down and reconnect with what matters most. I frequently work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, identity questions, family strain, and burnout—those who feel “constantly rushed,” “spread too thin,” or unsure how to “juggle it all” and still be present in their lives.

Couples Therapy
Couples often come to me when they’re feeling disconnected, struggling with trust or infidelity, navigating transitions such as marriage or an empty nest, or feeling stuck in recurring conflict. I help partners learn to communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and rediscover closeness. I also work with couples who simply want to enhance or strengthen an already healthy relationship.

Family Therapy
In family work, I support clients in identifying and changing long-standing patterns, improving communication, and setting boundaries that foster mutual respect and connection. Families often come to therapy ready to heal, grow, and create a new way forward together.

My Approach
When beginning therapy, my goal is to understand who you are and what works best for you. If you’ve attended therapy before, I’ll take time to learn what has and hasn’t been helpful so we can tailor your experience for maximum comfort and effectiveness. I believe therapy should be individualized, collaborative, and rooted in trust.

My therapeutic style is flexible and grounded in both research and real-world experience. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), psychoeducation, relational and client-centered work, strength-based and positive psychology, harm reduction, and motivational interviewing. I also integrate the work of Drs. John and Julie Gottman and Esther Perel to support deeper understanding and connection in relationships.

Who I Am as a Therapist
At the end of the day, I consider myself a grounded, straightforward, and modern therapist. My style is warm, open, and fully human—I’m not afraid to engage authentically in our sessions. I believe the best therapy feels comfortable, easy to connect with, and centered on you.

Please reach out if you feel I could be a good fit for you.

Outside of therapy I love live music, my kids, an exciting new bar or restaurant, a creepy book, vintage t-shirts, anything historical and old.
